Traveling around Oregon, Washington, and Idaho

We were able to take a little road trip to see the family last month.  My Great Aunt Velma had passed away so we decided to head up that way so we could go to her service and see the family.  Most of my family had not met Madelynn yet so it was fun to introduce her to them.

On our way to La Grande (our first stop) we stopped to feed Madelynn and Carter enjoyed chasing the ducks around.

Our next stop was Clarkston which is where we were the whole time.  We actually stayed at my cousin's house in Lewiston, Idaho but spent most of our time in Clarkston, Washington.

Madelynn and Toby meeting for the first time.  Toby is my cousin Mark and his wife Larissa's little guy.

Carter loved driving Uncle Jim's riding lawn mower.

Carter LOVED playing with all the John Deer tractors that my aunt brought with her for Carter.  He was in heaven.

Now he gets to drive Great Grandpa's golf cart.

My uncles and some of my cousins played baseball in the backyard.  This is definately a Bradley family tradition and brought back lots of memories.  Carter was right there in the middle but not actually playing.  He kept going right to the pitcher and stealing a wiffle ball.  He liked to take it up to the deck and throw it over the railing and watch it fall.  Then he would go down the stairs and pick it up and do it all over again.

Stealing a ball...

Hugs for daddy :)

My grandparents will all three of their great grandkids.  The kids (especially mine) were not in the mood for pictures.

And now he's happy again.  Little stinker :)

We had a nice time.  It was a little trickier with two kids though.  Madelynn often didn't get her naps that she needed so she was a bit cranky.  Carter was going to bed super late and sleeping in new environments and on the floor, which was something new for him.  I felt like Carter was a bit out of sorts.  We were just dragging him around all over the place.  He would just start playing with something really fun and then it would be time to leave.  That's when the waterworks would start.  We had a great trip but the kids were definately out of their routine and they struggled with that a little bit.
