2 Weeks

Our baby girl is two weeks old already! We are madly in love with this little lady. But can you blame us?

She is super sweet with a combination of a calm and gentle spirit and a sassy nature. She knows what she wants, when she wants it but also sleeps a lot and is so patient when her big brother loves on her.

She still seems so itty bitty but also looks like she is growing. We have her two week appointment today so I will add those details on here after. She makes some of the best faces when she is awake and alseep!

She is starting to stare right into our eyes and listen when we are talking to her. She is just precious.

She loves to eat, sleep during the day, and then keep momma awake at night. She also likes to sleep on momma and not in her own bed. We are working on that one!
She hates getting her diaper changed and getting dressed (just like her brother!) She also hates getting in her carseat but then settles in and usually falls asleep once she is moving (again, just like her brother!)

She has the cutest, littlest feet but long skinny fingers. I wonder if her long fingers is giving us a clue that she got her daddy's genes in the height department and not momma's. We shall see. I always hoped our boys would get daddy's height and our girls would get mine (or at least a combination of the two of us.)

She is just beautiful in purple...

She has the most perfect shaped head ever and beautiful skin. She also looks sooooo much like her brother did when he was a newborn. I just think she is beautiful!

We are just smitten with this little girl and feel so blessed that God chose us to be her parents. Of course, I am tired and really wish she would wake up in the evenings so that she would be more tired to sleep at night but that just goes with the territory. I will tell myself everyday that it is just a phase and she will start sleeping at night better. Carter is in love with her as well and says "hi baby" in the softest, sweetest voice everytime he sees her. He is constantly giving her kisses and laying his head next to hers. I love seeing so much brotherly love and can't wait until they can really become the best of friends. I am blessed and so thankful for my beautiful family of four!
