We did a spontaneous trip to our favorite pumpkin patch on Thursday, Bauman Farms. Carter was having a really hard time taking a nap that day, which is NOT normal for him so we decided to bag it and go to the pumpkin patch. This decision was not thought upon much and should have been since it was like a hundred degrees out. I think it was really only like 86 or something but it was way too hot for the pumpkin patch. And Carter had not taken a nap so by the end he was melting down a little too easily. But, we had fun anyway. I look forward to the pumpkin patch every fall!
Of course we had to go look at all of the animals.

He LOVED the swings! He had never been on such big swings before and thought it was the coolest thing ever! He was laughing everytime he came down. 
He was in heaven!
Jay had some fun too. 
By the time we went out to pick our pumpkin Carter was starting to melt down. Jay and I sort of were too because of how stinkin' hot it was!
