I've been a little slow in getting some pictures on here this summer. I actually have been taking pictures but have just been lazy in blogging. Here is a long picture post of the last couple weeks. Jay's mom has a hot tub. She turned the temperature down for Carter and Jay and Carter went swimming. Carter loves the water!
He was in a very snuggly mood with his daddy.
We got to spend four nights with the Hurley kids and all the pets. We always enjoy staying with them. Carter loved every minute of it because they have a dog, 2 cats and 2 guinei pigs. He LOVED Mo's dog crate!
We were using it as a barrier for the stairs but Carter was a little too sneaky. Most of the time it worked though.
He loved sitting in it with or without the dog.
All of us but Abbi. We were all hanging out being silly. Even the dog, Mo, had to get up there with us.

The day after we got home from the Hurleys, Hollie and I drove up to Seattle to watch our friend Jenni run in a marathon. She did a great job and we are so proud of her! We enjoyed the rest of the day in Seattle shopping and hanging out! I love my girls from college! We wish Amanda had been able to make it but we do plan on doing it again soon with all four of us and even spend the night up there.
We had the Mangis clan for a couple of hours. It always gets a little crazy with the combination of the boys and Jay. :) I love how Carter is standing on Jay's legs trying to get in on the action.

One day last week we took Carter swimming at the Kroc Center. He LOVED it!!!!!
Riding around on the tube in the lazy river. He was so happy but everytime I tried to take a picture he would look away.
Jay really didn't want this picture to make it on the blog. But...I think it is hilareous and will be fun to show Carter's girlfriend or wife someday! ;) He is obsessed with wearing our shoes right now and sadly, my shoes seem to be laying around for him to get to more often. Then he also found this cute little Valentine's sign in the spare room and was carrying it around like a purse. Sorry babe...
This is better...Here is our little Carter MAN! He looks all boy here. :)
We didn't have a pool for Carter yet so we just did this instead. Thanks Hollie for the great idea!
